Kathy Bellucci

Kathy Bellucci has been associated with the Sunshine School for approximately ten years. All four of her children graduated from the Sunshine School program. As her youngest child entered the program in 2001, Kathy became a teacher's assistant. Kathy is happy with her transition from Sunshine School mother to assistant teacher and now teacher.

Since 2003, Kathy has been a teacher in both the Art Room and the Dramatic Play Room. Both rooms allow the children to develop their imaginations. In the dramatic play area, cooking “gourmet” meals in the kitchen area, building a tower, or becoming a princess or a cowboy are just a few of the ways that the children explore their many fantasies. In the art area, the children employ their many talents in creating their own masterpieces, and learn to be proud of their accomplishments. Kathy enjoys helping build a true feeling of self worth in each child through his or her creations.

Finally, a truly rewarding gift to Kathy is watching each child develop emotionally and socially through the three year old program into the four year old program and to continue successfully and confidently beyond the Sunshine School years.
